An opinion poll conducted during the last election in Taiwan tallied which language respondents used to answer the survey.
Young respondents used almost only Mandarin. The use of Taiwanese rose with age. Clear Mandarin/Taiwanese bilingual users emerged in the 50–59 age bracket.
